Day 14 ~ FINDING MORNING SUNSHINE: Igniting My Art-Fire *Thank You Kingyo!!!*   Leave a comment

‘Art Journaling’ sparked my interest as I had first started off writing again and blogging and sharing my experiences in my daily life online.  I had come to a point on my Spiritual Path working on a course a friend offered in Herbalism, and when it was mentioned we needed in starting a Journal, everything kind of stopped there and I felt stuck.  I had shared many things online, but in physical Journaling?  I didn’t know where to start.  I wanted to be Creative and Artful’, since I’d be capturing sketches of Plants and writing details about anything and everything I could find on them, let alone my experiences with them in all shapes and forms.

I haven’t actually done any kind of painting or sketching since I was in High School (eons, it seems, ago!), something had been holding me back all these years, but I want to start up again anew.  So since the time I’ve been missing from here, I’ve been researching and reading and seeing how others online create their own personal Journalsand have realized that each has an Art of their own Creativeness, and I must find mine.

The one thing that limits me is TIME — I’m one of those working girls out in the real world with a job and family and animals — and the only way I figure I can get started in Art Journaling is taking it one-step-at-a-time, working with the materials I have on-hand already, and ‘make’ time if it’s something I want to continue that means a lot to me…and go from there!

So I start with being ‘Inspired’ by others photographs, journals, along with my own that will eventually lead me in getting out those Art Materials and Paper, and begin with something simple to create.

BLESSings,

)O( Indigenous Shamanic Winds xo

P.S.  Thank you for this promting blessings, Kingyo Hime xo!
